Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Sadie Bell Lyons; brother, Thomas Lyons; daughter, Wanda Faye Gooch Fletcher, Memphis, TN; grandsons, Earl Thomas and Major Dewayne "Poodie" Gooch; son-in-law, James Cox. Survived by devoted husband of 57 years, Major Gooch; sons, James Blackmon, Charles (Veda), David (Rena), Daniel Gooch; adopted son, William Styles; daughters, Linda Diane Perry Gooch, Sally (Rickey) Gooch Ridley, Sandra (Treveous) Lee, Dorothy Cox; son-in-law, Earl Fletcher, Memphis, TN; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
