HENDERSON, Mamie of Nashville, TN. September 12, 2008. She was born to Mr. Crokett and Maude McClain on December 21, 1936. She was preceded in death by husband, Mr. Joe L. Henderson; two sisters, Lucile Wray, Mary E. Britton; three brothers, W.C., Clifton and Frank McClain. Survived by brother, Howard "Putt" McClain; five children, Bridgette (Walter) Crawley, Tony (Brenda), Darryl E., Johnny (LaShunda) and Tanglar Henderson; twenty grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; companion, Mr. Martin Moore; dedicated loved one, Ms. Elise Hoover; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Family visitation Monday, September 15, 2008 from 6-7 p.m., St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 1226 - 6th Avenue. North, funeral to follow with Pastor Venerria Smith, Eulogist, Rev.
