MCADORY, JR., John Poindexter --Age 63 of Nashville. Formerly of Knoxville, TN. December 18, 2008. He was a graduate in the class of 1963 at Austin High School in Knoxville, Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and a long-time educator for Metro-Nashville Public Schools. Survivors sons, Dennis McAdory of Greenfield, SC and LeJuan Chastang of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Gilbert, Margaret and Cassandra McAdory all of Memphis, TN and Belinda Helm of Little Rock, AR; very devoted friends, Barbara Canada, Maxine Cunningham, DelRay Adams, James Carmichael, Dwight Lewis and the AHS Class of 1965; aunts; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation with family Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 11 a.m. til 12 noon at Greater Revelation Baptist Church, 1027 12th Avenue North. Funeral to follow with Rev. Adric Lane, Pastor.
